Packing a unit

The most common regret isn't the storage unit size. It's a unit packed wall to wall with the thing you need buried at the back.

One walkway down the middle turns a solid wall of boxes into a unit you can actually use.

Books and tools at floor level. Lamps and linens above. Nothing stacked so high it walks over.

A pallet or a couple of 2×4s under the bottom layer protects against any water that gets in.

Write on the side of the box facing your walkway so you can read the stack without unstacking it.
